can I use a theme with tables layout?

  • I have a theme I intend to use with my wordpress but it’s built using tables rather than divs. This is not a specifically wp theme but just a theme I found elsewhere. Seeing that normally wordpress themes use div structure, will I even be able to use it?

  • Yes, you can. You just need to know where to insert the WP specific code – the template tags.

    It is a completely different question that pro designers don’t like tables since they are not meant for web design…
