    Hello Jan,

Today you can’t. Well you could tweak the plugin to do it, but it’s not available out of the box. I do see the benefit though.

Let me think about it and I might add it to a future release.

    Thanks for the note
    Greg

I second that request. I have a number of site that would benefit from that approach (the ability to target a specific hotel).

I second that request too, for me with a customfield for the destination.

Another possibility would be to use an dropdown menu into the destination field.

I also support this request. But I think it would be better if you could make the sidebar widget be able to be linked to a custom field defined by the user (e.g. “location” or “city”). This would be the most flexible solution and allow the search box to display a custom destination for any post that has that field populated.

    I vote for this request!

    Dear Greg,

Could you please add this option in a future release?

Otherwise please let me know for a “GO” or “NO GO”. Then I have to look for another option with another plugin.

    I’m waiting for your response.

    Cheers, Jan

    Hello Jan,

Yes I’ll certainly add it in a future release but I haven’t put it on my calendar yet. I appreciate you need a short term answer, so for now, you’d be better off taking this as a “NoGo”.

If that’s ok with you I’ll ping you when I beta the functionality. Probably a couple of months away from now.

Alternatively, if several of you want this to happen, I’ve seen a couple of examples where sites owners would unite in a fundraising to get a dev to build them a custom plugin. Maybe if the 5 of you want to put $200/300 each, you’d get a dev working on it right away. My code is open source so it’s yours to fork ! Keep me posted !

    Cheers
    Greg
