Hey guys and girls. I really just have a fast question. I am learning to make my own templates from scratch. Since I have very good knowledge of XHTML and CSS, and little PHP – I guessed I should start learning it.

I have been using this free guide to do so. https://www.wpdesigner.com/2007/02/19/so-you-want-to-create-wordpress-themes-huh/

My questions is. Will I get any problems if I still using this guide to make templates to WordPress 3.0?

EDIT: Sorry. My bad I posted the wrong link to the guide I used. I have replaced the link with the right one.

    Yes.

Download 3, and use the twentyten theme(or similar) as a starting point – that way you are starting with something that has been coded correctly and utilisies most if not all current features.

could somebody give me a tip on this…
I have as almost everybody else a pre-WP 3.0 theme (forte)
now there is the question of how to make the theme compatible with a WP 3.0 upgrade…..

    Question:
where is the best guide for How To Make my old Theme WordPress 3.0 Compatible?
is there any recommended guide from WP..?
