Can I use my WordPress.com theme and custom header in www.ads-software.com?

  • Hi,

    I just installed www.ads-software.com to my server and imported my WordPress.com blog. Almost everything shows up, but I lost my theme (MistyLook by Sandish), custom header, and sidebar widgets. Can I retrieve them?

    You will need to download the mistylook theme and upload it to:

    /your blog directory/wp-content/themes/

    Activate it in the wp-admin under design options then select widgets (also in design options) and you will have to add the ones you want.

    As for your customer header if wordpress.com lets you access the theme editor you can simply copy and paste the code over to your new servers blog install.

    Thanks so much, threestyler! I didn’t see in under the available themes, so thought it wasn’t available for www.ads-software.com.
