Hello Dennis, I have been using your solution for many years now and have been very happy with it… I now want to change my subdomain setup to a subfolder setup ( apparently it is better for SEO? ), wanting to have mysite.gr/eng for example, instead of eng.mysite.gr. Is this possible with your plugin and do you have any tips for where to start with the migration?? It is seeming like a mountain to me at this time… Thank you so much for your time…

Yes, this would also work with the subfolder configuration in a multisite.

I’m not sure regarding the value for SEO. Personally, I use domains… read on here: https://searchengineland.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-multilingual-and-multiregional-seo-157838

I’m sure that it could be easy as backup the site, configure the site for subdirectories and check if you linked your contents with the complete URL.

Maybe there are links from other sites to your site’s content?

Hello Dennis and thank you for your reply… So you use mysite.com, mysite.eu, mysite.gr for example? Thank you for the link to the great article by the way…
It is just seeming like a huge mountain right now to change from subdomains to subdirectories/folders but I will figure it out…
I will do re-directs for all the pages so that if there are links out there etc they will get forwarded to the new pages….
    thanks again…

Last question… Using your language switcher, would i still have a different backend for each language version if i use subfolders? Sorry, maybe a really silly question, it has been years since i did the intial setup and so i have forgotten everything!

Yes, you will have different dashboards also in this case. ??
