Can I use the widget for photos I post on my website?

You most certainly can use the Ranker widget to show photos!

Here’s a step-by-step to create a slideshow widget;
1. Go to Ranker.com and create a new list (top right).
2. Add all of your picture titles as items and order them how you like.
3. For each item upload a large image.
4. Click the options tab and set the “view” as slideshow.
5. Click the “Submit” button to publish your list.
6. You can now use your new list URL in the Ranker Widget tool as usual and you’ll have a slideshow of all your pictures!
