Can I utilize the WordPress tinyMCE link editor outside the tinyMCE?

  • As the topic reveals I want to utilize the “insert/edit link” part of the tinyMCE in a plugin. I want to use the form with all included interactions. I just don’t want it to be tied to the tinyMCE, since I am not using the tinyMCE in my plugins page.
    That is the “insert/edit link” ui box that pops up when clicking the anchor button in the tinyMCE.
