I wish to know in stead of showing the latest fb posts, can it show all fb posts to display permanently at my website? As I believe that will benefit SEO much more. If yes, how to do that?

Awaiting for your earliest reply, thank you.

  • Hey Happyguy99,

Due to the way Facebook’s API works Facebook will only let you obtain 99 posts per API call and so whoever is viewing the feed would have to click a “Load More” button which will obtain the next 99 posts, etc., etc.

However using our “Featured Post” extension which works in conjunction with the plugin would allow you display one specific post from a Facebook account without having to follow the order of retrieval described above. This is handy when you want to match up a single post with some other article on a website page.

Do you mean it can only display the last 99 posts, then user needs to click ‘load more’ to see more?

Unfortunately, yes. Facebook only allows the retrieval of 99 posts at a time per API call. So you would retrieve the first 99 posts which would then load and appear in the feed display. But, to display additional posts in the same feed display you would then need to click on the “Load More” button which will then add the next 99 posts to the same feed display and so forth until all posts in the account were obtained.
