    Not sure if this plugin can help me with this, and probably a question for someone who has tried to do the same sort of thing, but has anyone come across a way to create a different mouseover effect or view style in the Post Grid depending on the category of the posts?

    For example, if I choose ‘Masonry Grid: Go top’ but want to change the background colour of the content slide (the one that slide up with mouseover) to be different depending on the category will this plugin be able to help with this?

    Each of the item in the posts grid comes with an article DOM element which has the class set depending on which category it belongs to. This enables you to change the styling for each item depending on its category. Pls see image below taken from chrome developer tools –
