Can it work with uploads built into theme?

  • Hello,

    I have tried to use this plugin with my theme which allows frontend user upload of images. When uploaded through the theme from the front end the files are not renamed. However when uploaded from the backend in the media library it works great.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    Hello @jakeeus,

    Theoretically, it should work. I’m not doing anything to stop it working on frontend. Maybe your theme isn’t using native WordPress functions to upload images.

    Is this a free theme? What’s its name?

    Thanks for the super fast response and apologies for the delayed reply!

    I’m using Templatic Directory – Eventum Theme https://templatic.com/docs/eventum-guide/

    The images are user submitted through the front end and upload into the wordpress media library.

    Perhaps it’s something to do with the theme?
