Can my form be taken/stolen?

    Hi,

    Firstly, I love forminator it’s brilliant!

    I have a form/pricing matrix which has some very complex calculations on it. Which I have spent a about 6months developing.

    Not saying anyone would but can the form be taken or stolen through the website or inspector? Or are all the calculations hosted in my user on WordPress somehow?

    I hope you are doing well

    The user would need to understand all the fields and your formula, but unfortunately yes, the data-formula is visible which Forminator scripts use to run the functions on the front end.

    I’m afraid this has to be visible for JavaScript to collect the necessary data.

    Hi Patrick,

    Ultimately the form i have made is relatively simple but the the calculations i have worked out have taken me ages and don’t want some one to just come along and grab it all. I’m not saying someone would but you understand what i mean right?

    I understand it would have to be on the fronted to make it all work.

    Do you have an idea on how you could hide this information?

    If not i might just lookout copyrighting it some how.

    Hi @philjay86,

    Unfortunately, we currently have no feature that can allow us to hide it from the front-end. It’s needed in order for the browser to also render form properly. There may be a possible workaround(have not tested it) you can look into with a copyright plugin such as this one:https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-hide-security-enhancer/
