I just noticed when I go to Appearance > Customize in the Customizr theme, I can no longer access Global Settings (font, etc), Header, Main Content, Footer, or Advanced Options (CSS). I can click and access the submenus Front Page Content, Menus, and Widget, but not the others. When I click on them, nothing happens. I was able to access them all last week. I have made some changes that may be the culprit, but I cannot isolate the issue. I disabled all my plugins one by one, and the problem persists. I cleared by website cache and browser cache, and disabled all caching plugins.

Tonight I updated to WordPress 6.7 and PHP 8.3. I reverted back to PHP 8.2, but that did not fix my issue. I cannot revert back to WP 6.6. I installed the Yoast SEO plugin this week, but as I mentioned earlier, I deactivated that and the issue persists. I also recently turned on Auto Ads in Google Adsense settings.

I am not sure which, if any, of the above changes are preventing me from accessing my theme customization. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded the Core Rollback plugin and rolled back to WP 6.6 and that fixed it.

That’s not actually a fix, the theme developers should update all their themes to be compatible with WP 6,7. I have the same problem.

I’m having the same issue. Thanks Rob for confirming my suspicion that it’s an incompatibility with WordPress 6.7. I’ll try that rollback plugin as a temporary fix too.

But I’ve spent quite a lot of time designing a site on the foundations of the Customizr theme. And I’ve used it for previous clients. If this isn’t corrected soon I’m worried I’m going to have to rebuild from scratch.

I have the same problem. Is there a way for the theme developer to be notified of this problem and can proceed to update it?

Same issue, can confirm. Rolled back to WordPress V6.6.2 and sent the devs a message. Hopefully they’ll get it together ASAP. I’ve been using Customizr freebie for years without issue. Contact form is here:

    Hi

Hopefully, you are fine and doing well!

Their team is actively working to resolve these compatibility issues. In the meantime, they are recommending rolling back to WordPress version 6.6(previous version) to restore full functionality.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards

Same issue here. In the Theme Customiser if I click on “header”, “main content”, or “footer” then nothing happens.

I agree. The Customizr team needs to fix the problem to be compatible with the latest WP version 6.7. They can’t expect everyone to go back to a previous WP Version. WP is constantly updating and if Customizr wants it’s users to continue using their theme a fix is absolutely needed ASAP.
