Hi, I think my website was automatically updated to WordPress 4.0.1 several days ago. This morning I updated one of the plugins, Google Analytics I believe (like I always do) and now I can no longer access my wp-panel. Website is caffeamericanoblog.com
Please help. This is a huge problem, obviously.
    Thank you.

  • You’ll need to use FTP or another file manager your host provides to access your site files on the server and deactivate that plugin manually. You’ll find it here:

    wp-content
        plugins
google analytics (or whatever it's called)

    Just rename or delete it.

If that doesn’t work, try renaming the entire plugins folder to “pluginsHOLD”

Ok, I deleted Google Analytics on cPanel and now I can view my admin panel again.

Thank you WPyogi. I will keep this in mind (renaming to pluginsHOLD) should this happen again.
