Can no longer drag and drop widgets

  • I have been working away on my website, and suddenly I cannot drag and drop the widgets on the widgets page. My existing widgets are fine, but I have one section left to fill with a widget, and although the four arrow cursor appears over the widgets in the “available” section, I cannot pick them up. I have already tried using a different mouse, but everything else is working just fine. I have also restarted my computer and my browser several times to no avail. Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
