As of this week, I can no longer edit charts I have made over many years, because the Import Data from File feature is suddenly a premium feature requiring a $99 annual upgrade. Is this correct?

I see another support topic from a separate user this week who reported a similar issue. Your response was that whatever table he was trying to access had been a premium feature “for years”. But the user did not seem to agree this was the case. He had been using these charts in the past and these functions had never previously required a paid upgrade. I am having a very similar issue.

The ability to import data from a file has been a free feature for years. The plug-in is basically not usable if users are not able to import data from .csv or other database files. Please explain if this change is intentional or if it’s a glitch. Thank you

No response after 3 days. Totally lame.

I have hundreds of live charts from years of using this plug-in on my site and would be a strong prospect for buying this $99 to $399 upgrade. It will save me hours of work converting over to a competing product. But forget it if this is the customer service I can expect.

    Hi @andycrossley,

Thank you for using Visualizer! In the free version, data editing happens through the manual editor. You can copy-paste your CSV data directly. While file import is a premium feature, the editor allows for data changes.

Let us know if you have other questions about the plugin.

@andycrossley I have 5 tables and it took me some minutes only to change to TablePress.

@stefancotitosu, please stop saying that file upload was always a premium feature, it was NOT. We used it for years. Dont be a coward like this, just admit you changed the plugin, god.
