Can no longer install plugins, 500 error

    I am attempting to install Jetpack on my WordPress site, and was successful once, then uninstalled – and now every time I try to add the new plugin I am getting an error:

    Installation failed: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> 500 Internal Server Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I can’t seem to install any other plugins either, and have been getting this error with plug updates pretty regularly. What might be going on? How can I fix this, or do I need to contact WordPress hosting to sort it out?

    this’s maybe you have comflit plugin. You can disable one by one and try again.
    If this not work you can check your error log to see error of php for install plugin progress. or share this to here.

    Got it – where do I check my error log? I did try deactivating all plugins, trying to download, but that did not fix it.

    I think your theme have problem:
    see the constant at functions.php on line 10 of theme lovecraft.
