Can no longer upload .xlsm files

  • I have had the same for .mp3 files since the 4.7.1 update. I have tried a lot already (disabling Plugins, other themes) but it doesn’t fix it. I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

    I found a temporary fix for my issue if you are interested. Download the free WT TP Pluggin from the following page:
    Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
    The pluggin allows all file types to be uploaded.

    There are two ways to override this. The easy way is adding the following line into your wp-config.php

    define('ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS', true);

    You can add the above line of code in the wp-config.php file just above the following statement.

    /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

    If this doesn`t fix your issue, you better get in touch with your hosting provider as many hosts don’t support various types of files to be uploaded to the server due to security issue.

    This solve the problem.
