Can no see shared posts

    Hi, my client shares an event on Facebook of another Facebook page.
    But we can’t see that post in WordPress.

    Is it included in the plugin that that ‘share-post’ can be seen in WordPress. Or only in the pro version?

  • Hey Dave,

    Thank you for reaching out with your inquiry. A “shared” event will not be displayed in feed because Facebook only allows people to display events from a Page account that they are the administrator of and it requires a special Page access token to even display their own events.

    A “shared” event would not be an event created by the account administrator but rather “shared” from another Facebook account so it would not be available even when using a “Page” access token for the events being displayed on your client’s Page account.
