Can not add new posts with 3.0

  • I posted a comment on this yesterday but now I can not find it so I am wondering if I did something wrong.

    My laptop is running Windows7 and I upgraded to 3.0, now my add new post page has no link for publish or schedule. Also there is no link in the upper left to visit the site

    I have deactivated all my plugins and even reverted back to the default theme and still have the same problem.

    On the Edit Post page, check your Screen Options (top right of the page) and ensure you have 2 selected for Number of Columns.

    Since the dashboard was showing 2 columns I never thought to check that. I now have a publish, save draft and preview buttons.

    I still do not see a link to schedule the post or to visit the site. Am I missing something else really simple?

    Ok, I found the edit option to be able to schedule the post. They sure have complicated things in this new release.

    Oh, I wish that was my problem !! I have quickpress and all the rest checked off and it on 2 column and I cant quick posts, posts, or pages since upgrading to 3.0
