    Hello,

    I had a MailChimp-account with different sub-accounts. When I tried to connect to MailChimp I choose the right account. After connection it is connected to the wrong account. I Asked my clients to disconnect their accounts, so now i have only my own account, with my own lists.

    Now when I connect i get this message:

    {“result”:”error”,”response”:”an error occurred: This account has been deactivated.”}

    I tried to connect with different browsers..

    I hope someone can help me with this. I use the latest version of the plugin.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us. We definitely want to help out with that as best we can. In order to dig a little bit to see what might be going on, we’ll need some information from you. While we can continue following up through here, can you email us which account and specific login username you’re working with at wordpress [at] mailchimp dot com? If you can specify in your email that you are webmonnik here in the support forum, that’d be a great help.

    Once we’re able to look a bit into that we’ll be able to respond again here.

    Hey guys, also having problems connecting accounts

    When I try connect the account to the plugin, it hangs on this URL –

    After I’ve entered my details and said login, it hangs on this https://sopresto.socialize-this.com/mailchimp/confirm?code=c0c4c20f0c9bcc267eae54b2d8ac85b1

    WordPress – 3.6.1
    Plugin – 1.4.1

    coffeecreative, thanks for those details. Something to check on that front is to see if your site host is blocking traffic to or from sopresto.socialize-this.com. If things are hanging there, it could be an issue with necessary data failing to be transmitted between the WordPress installation and the servers used for authentication.

    Can you possibly post a new thread with your response info? That would make it a bit easier for us to track your communication thread. (Perhaps copying your initial post as well as mine into your first post there before your response would be good for keeping context in order.)

    just so that I don’t miss anything, by my response info, you mean?

    Oh! I meant to clarify that a bit. I’m looking for any information you can find as far as whether traffic to/from that site is being blocked via your host provider. That could help us quite a bit with regards to troubleshooting on this end. Thanks!

    Hey webmonnik, While I can see we were previously having issues with receiving emails at that account, I’ve triple checked and found that it’s working correctly using external email accounts, but I still don’t see your newest email. Would it be possible for you to retry that again?
