Can not connect to the WordPress Plugin Directory

  • I have installed a new version of wordpress on my site and now I am unable to install new plugins from the Directory.

    I get this message – “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    I can install plugins by ftp but can not update thru the backend. How can I fix this issue.
