Can Not decode raw data on Safari but need Gzip for site

  • Hi Folks,
    Having issues or so it would appear since we moved our site over to VMware apparently users are flagging issues with Safari on Iphone etc. We are looking for solutions around this but I have been advised by my hosting company due to the large volume of traffic that we are expecting that disabling GZip related plugins isn’t a great idea as it will compromise the site.Does anyone have any experience and solutions for dealing with this issue as it is really frustrating as this is the first time moving to VMware etc that I have encountered this issue none of our other sites have ever encountered it so it would seem.

    This may be a bug in Safari. Try clearing cookies from your browser or disabling “Serve compressed versions of cached files” in Hummingbird-Caching-Page Caching
