    Hi guys,

    We have a problem with our Facebook catalogue. We are using the plugin “Facebook for WooCommerce” for our store.

    Previously, in our store, each Clothing product in each color was a separate product. To make this a little clearer we have now packed some of the same products with different colors under one parent product. This means that there are now much fewer products in the store. We have deleted the old products in our WooCommerce store. To get the new products displayed in our Facebook catalog, we used the “Sync products” button in the backend of our WooCommerce store. This has now taken a few days and the new products are now available in in the Facebook catalogue. Here is the problem:

    All old products are also still available in the Facebook catalogue and even “Copies” of the old products (The Copies we cannot explain at all). We assumed that the whole store is updating and only the actual products, which are currently in our WooCommerce store, are displayed.

    We tried to delete the products manually in the Facebook catalog, but we can’t select the old products to delete because the box is grayed out.

    Only some products can be deleted and we can’t figure out what the issue is. I have read that products which are in a collection on Facebook cannot be deleted. Now we have deleted all collections and the problem persists. We are already starting to get a little desperate.

  • Yes, same issue for me, products not synced on Facebook catalogue, also can`t delete the old products

    Hi @baronfilou,

    It is possible that Facebook still has the old metadata / feeds from the previous products and has not cleared them out yet. You can do a few things:

    – Follow this link to delete/reset all products on Facebook’s side. It will require a fresh re-sync after it, but it should clear out the older product information.

    – If that does not work, you can manually delete them on Facebook’s side directly via the Business Manager.

    Hi Mike,

    thank you for your help. Im afraid if we delete all products and resync, that the pixel will loose all the information which he has already collected.

    I would prefer deleting the products manually via the business manager but the delete button is greyed out. I do not know why we are not able to delete these products.
