I am trying to use this plugin to disable some of the built in WordPress email alerts (such as new user and password changed) however even after creating these and setting them to disabled I am still getting the emails. I have tried several other plugins that are suppose to do the same thing and none of them work either, any idea why I can’t disable these notifications on my WP site?

I figure it is something with my setup but I can’t figure out what it is.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @dmorton91,
    Thanks for your message.

It could be a plugin conflict where another plugin is preventing BNFW (or other plugins) from doing their job correctly.

Please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?

    Thanks,
    Jack

I’m also not able to disable New User email notifications from going to Admins.

I am using BuddyPress however and an SMTP plugin to send emails out opposed to the default WordPress email function.

Any known conflicts with these? Thanks

    Hi @dmorton91 and @barkins,
I’ve just tested this and it’s working fine for me.

I tested by disabling both the ‘New User Registration – For User’ and ‘New User Registration – For Admin’ notifications, after I had created them, then creating a new user via the WP Admin under Users > Add New. Neither notification was triggered. The only notification that was triggered was the ‘New User – Post-registration Email’ which I still had set to enabled.

How are you both creating the new users?

    Thanks,
    Jack
