Can not edit any pages on our website

Try installing the plugin “Classic Editor” from PLUGINS->ADD NEW

I did, and I still can’t edit anything. The box opens but the text are is not available and I can’t close the box, I have to refresh my screen to get it to close.

Try reinstalling WordPress (from DASHBOARD->UPDATES), then disable and re-enable Classic Editor.

The errors seem to be coming from a plugin:

plugins/goodlayers-core/

so if the above doesn’t resolve things, I suggest you contact them directly at https://goodlayers.ticksy.com/

Steven, I had the exact same issue with Classic Editor as OP. I reinstalled WordPress and re-enabled Classic Editor. When I edit an existing page, Classic Editor shows blank window on the Visual tab; clicking the Text tab does nothing.

A lot more people will see your post, and that way you stand a good chance of getting the assistance you want. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.
