Can not edit field in Version 1.14.12

I hope you are doing good.

I wasn’t able to replicate this issue on a test install, the checkbox/radio button edit option works fine without any issues.

Can you please do a conflict test to make sure it’s not a plugin or theme conflicting and causing the issue?

Thanks for your quick response.

This problem happened on our live site, so we will need to do the conflict test in a different time. But since this problem did not happen before the auto update to Version 1.14.12, can you also double check what might be the cause, especially enabling the images for radio and checkbox.

I double-checked the issue and it is related to the characters, we do have a reported bug on the new version breaking for some languages.

Our team is working on a fix that should be included in the 1.15 release.

For now, can you download the previous version on https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/forminator/advanced/

And install by uploading the Zip file in WordPress > Add New > Upload.

Got it, thanks. But also report another issue which is related to language.

For the visibility rules, if Field item Radio, the option/condition is all in Chinese, then the selection will be “is null” no matter which option you selected.

I’ve also reported it to our developers. It seems that all these issues are related to some same change in recent release so hopefully the fix that my colleague mentioned will also fix these issues. But regardless, it’s already reported separately as a bug as well.

The new release Version 1.14.12.1 had solved the problem for “edit field” of radio and checkbox, BUT this problem is still happening…

Yes, as Adam said, we reported this issue as a new case for our developers, unfortunately, it wasn’t included on 1.14.12.1, but we are going to work to fix this too.

We can’t give an estimated time, but please keep the plugin updated.
