Can Not edit Meta description in posts

    I have seen many threads with similar problems and it seems like there is no working solution yet. When editing a post I would like to type in a meta description. However, every word i type will be deleted after pressing space. Can’t use the plugin like this.
    I have the newest Version of WordPress and yoast. All plugins and themes are up to date. I have performed the health check with no issues. Deactivating all Plugins didn’t solve the problem.

    Please provide the answers to the following:

    • Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    • Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    • Does the issue occur with the current 5.3.2 version of WordPress?
    • Does the issue occur with the current 13.2 version of Yoast SEO?
    • Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, like posts, products, categories, etc?
    • Are you using a supported browser? If so, which browser and version are you using? What browsers and versions does Yoast support?
    • Does it work when using another browser and/or private/incognito mode?
    • Check for?JavaScript errors with your console.

    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a?new GitHub issue?for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

    Sorry, looks too complicated to me to find the fault on my own. Other SEO plugins do work better without any problems.
