Can not even activate the plugin as it throws fatal error

    I really want to use this plugin but am stuck even at the zeroth step – plugin can’t be activated. I’m using the multisite. When I try to activate the plugin (network activate or otherwose), I get following error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Call to a member function add_cap() on a non-object in /home/…/…/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/paid-memberships-pro.php on line 171

    Please help!

    Please ensure you have uploaded the full plugin..
    if there was an error during upload where all the files were not loaded, you can get this error..

    if you have to upload via FTP a few files at a time.. and just over write what s there already

    Hi Pete!

    Thanks for your reply. As per your suggestion, I deleted the plugin and re-installed it but problem still persists. I’m not uploading the plugin via FTP, instead installing the plugin directly from my Plugins Dashboard. It seams, problem lies somewhere else and it’s not that plugin could not be installed properly.

    Hope you would suggest some other solution.

    Oh try to upload it via the FTP system…

    If you still have errors try to upload an earlier version and see how you go
