• Hi there.
Im trying to transfer an old wordpress installation to a new provider.
Now I conclude that events (from today(2017) until Oct. 2013) are lost.
I can not find them in the Database, the older ones are there.
Or is it possible, that they are saved somewhere else since them?

    thanks for help
    jan

How did you transfer the events? Was it a mysql dump? Or did you use the WordPress exporter? If the latter, please note that the exporter does not support custom tables. As such the dates of the event will not be exported. The meta-data used for generating the dates is, so you can re-generate the dates simply by updating the events with the ‘edit occurrences’ checkbox checked.

    It was a mysql Dump.
I think it was magic! There is nothing else I can consider.
How can table Contents remove by dumping?

If it was a database dump then that is very odd. What is missing exactly, is it records from wp_posts or wp_eo_events?

    wp_eo_events
It′s strange – And I dont think that the Plugin is responsible.
(But who – Its not so easy to delete ~200 Events unconsciously)

I only wanted to ask if the events are saved in some other place.
    thank you

Events are stored in wp_posts, and the event dates are stored in wp_eo_events. The event meta data is stored in wp_postmeta, and from that you can generate the events, but it would be a manual job and with 200 events that’s not feasible. You could write a script to go through each of the events and update them (eo_update_event()), which would regenerate the event dates.

its the same inside the wp_posts : all Events are lost since aug. 2013.

    thanks again
