Can not hit the Visual and HTML button

  • Hi there, In my wordpress admin section, I can not hit the Visual or HTML button to make edits. Also, it also does not let me click Screen Options.

    Even if I do make amends to the text, it does not update when I hit Preview Changes.

    I have tried on a PC and on a Mac. I have Javascript enabled. How do I diagnose this? Absolutely any advise is appreciated. Thank you.

  • Start by disabling all active plugins. Then check if you can use those options. If that works then you will need to re-activate plugins one by one until you find the cause.

    If disabling all plugins does not resolve it also try switching themes. Then report back.
