Can not install wordpress database into phpMyAdmin

  • Can someone help me please. I have very limited knowledge about .sql files etc.

    I have created a new database in phpMyAdmin and I am trying to import my websites database into but I keep getting this message.

  • What exactly are you trying to do? Why are you creating a new database in phpMyAdmin? Are you trying to move sites?

    Hi there,

    Yes I am trying to move sites from one server to another. Have uploaded my files and just trying to import the database now. Hope that makes sense?
