Can not keep commenters' user name or email

  • It’s a good plugin, But only one issue that I got complain from my visitors.
    It can not keep commenters’ name or email after their first using.
    That means my visitor always refill the name email website every single time when they come back leave a new comment.

    Can u fix this issue out, cos I really love using this plugin.

    Thank you for your review. Please note, that’s not truth. wpDiscuz keeps Guests information on comment form, they have NOT to add it on each comment. please test it yourself and you’ll see that.

    wpDiscuz only removes user data on closing browser. This has been done for secure reasons. If we don’t remove those data and keep in browser the next user can use the same email. Email is a personal information and should not be shown all users of that browser.

    However we’re ready to remove this logic (because WP Native does that), please let us know your thoughts.

    We just added an option to set keeping guests data unlimited in browser, please update to 3.1.3 veriosb.

    Cahngelog:
    Added: Option to keep guest commenter credentials in browser for x days
    Set this option value -1 to make it unlimited.
    Set this option value 0 to clear those data when user closes browser

    As far as we see title “Can not keep commenters user name or email” is the reason why you didn’t rate wpDiscuz 5*. Hope it’s ok now and you can change the current 3* rate to higher. That’s very important for as it currently affects plugin rating.
