Can not log in to wordpress

  • Just uploaded wordpress to my sight and when i try to go login it just keeps going back to the login screen, i know i have the username and password right, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling wordpress and still the same thing. I have another site up and runing with wordpress and i can get into it just fine.

    I have also tried everything here https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Login_Trouble and still the same problem

    Anyone help? i really need to get this going and have tried EVERYTHING i have found in the forums and nothin works

    So if you browse to yoursite/wp-admin/options-general.php

    It goes to the login page. You enter then data and it does not redirect to the settings page in wp-admin when done? It goes back to the login page?

    If you have reinstalled WP and it didnt work I would say it is a plugin. I would delete the plugin files in the reverse order you installed them. So the last one you installed and activated I would delete first.

    But I guess since you already did everything on that page you tried this, right?

    Yes i use fantastico through cpanel to install wordpress and dont have any issues with my other site, and i have tried disabling the plugins and still the same issue
