Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.

    Have you tried doing this?

The setup with Google Drive was extremely challenging and I don’t relish having another go at it.

The backups continue to work just fine so it UDP is clearly able to obtain an access token from GD. Ditto for manually deleting backups … it is able to access and removed the backup files from GD quite quickly.

Given the ability of UDP to backup and delete files, I don’t understand why I would need to go through the setup process again to authorize a connection.

    Hi,

UD gets an access token from Google, and then sends it back when performing operations. Beyond that, it’s a black box – what it gets back from Google is either information that the requested operation was done, or that it was unauthorised. No insight is provided by Google’s end as to *why* it considers the token unauthorised – only that it does. That being so, there’s little that can be done, when Google sends back a message saying that the token is not authorised, then to take it at face value and re-authorise.

    Best wishes,
    David

Ok, thank you for the explanation. I may look at some other options for backup site if GD is going to be a challenge.
