Can not turn off featured image, error in settings

Could you try to delete the Jetpack plugin, and reinstall it manually, as explained here:

Just did that, but it didn’t solve the problem.

I can’t seem to be able to reproduce the issue. Could you revert to a previous version of the plugin, and let me know if it changes anything?

Now my website displays the featured image twice even when the ‘Display Featured Images on Post Pages as well’ option is unchecked !

I updated the plugin and now it is back displaying the featured image once

I can’t disable the featured image, even by removing the plugin. Seems like the plugin inject it self to Jetpack. The plugin version is v1.5

The plugin actually enables Featured Image support in Jetpack’s Mobile Theme, yes. If you want to force Featured Images to be off again, try the following:

1. Go to this page: https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php
2. Look for this option: wp_mobile_featured_images
3. Make sure it is set to 0
4. Save your changes
