Can not turn off Maintenance!!!!

    Why why on earth

    Since I installed the plugin, my site is in Maintenance mode but the Maintenance mode switch on the plugin page is off. When clicking the switch I be put to a site where I can change the Maintenance text but not turn off the mode.

    I uninstalled the plugin and I still only see Maintenance

    THIS IS COMPLETELY BROKEN!!!!!!!!!
    I have to reinstall my whole page now fffs

    No, I have NO other Maintenance plugins installed!

    Hi,

    When you try to disable Maintenance mode, do you see any error messages? Can you enable debug mode, then try to disable Maintenance mode. After can you check the log file.

    If the above does not help, can you disable all other plugins except ours. Then try to disable Maintenance mode. Let me know what happens.

    I have had a similar problem. Yesterday I ticked the “Check this if you want all visitors except those who are logged in as administrator to be locked out of the front-end of your site.” box and on updating plugins it went to maintnenance mode but blocking me out as well. The message was black font on white so i unticked the box and logged out. Today when I tried to log in the message came up straight away but this time on a grey background with yellow letters in a yellow square. I installed a back up from yesterday morning and have deleted the message as well as leaving the box unticked. But I see that there is an unseen image in the message box ie. P ? IMG
    I have purged cache.
