Can one change the Gmedia order ID?

    I know that under Manage Galleries/Basic Setup one can set the ordering of the images. However, I would prefer to edit the order ID. Otherwise, I am stuck with the order by which I added the images. Ordering by title does not work for me as I use titles that are descriptive, and do not wish to artificially some distracting code to establish an order (as in a title like: AA1 – A zebra; AA2 – A dog). Also, it may be that I wish to add an image a week later that goes in the middle of my previously loaded images and I cannot see a way to do that.

    If the current Order ID is intrinsic to how you store items in the Gmedia library, maybe you can add another sort column that is editable.

    Is there a way to do this on the back-end right now without messing things up? I need to change the gMedia ID as well, but sooner rather than later.

    I spoke too soon… Found a hack using the last modified order- just went through and modified them in the order I needed. But ya, this would be a good feature. Thanks!
