Can only one catagory be displayed on home page?

Alternatively you search for Plugins that alter/modify the visiblity/invisibility of categories.

Thanks moshu – I’ve read the material about The_Loop, but couldn’t make it work like I wanted to. The query_post tag looks promising.

hmmm. Once you have enough posts in the two categories I think the “page2” idea won’t work, but you might try looking over these category template docs and see if something there might get you started:
