Can plugin be used for ordering system/no payments

Hi,

Rather like the simplified plugin you have created.

We have a client which is wanting a system that works like a shopping cart, but instead of going through to a payment / full checkout they want to be able to choose delivery address and payment source then click a button that sends off an email (much like the confirmation you would receive automatically after purchase) that can be sent to multiple email addresses (we would use gmail diverts for this), so that an order is made, but no payment is taken.

The payment for items would then be invoiced and paid externally from the site.

However, there is an extra odd step that they want to add in. They want users to be able to make an order, but then someone else to be able to go back in to the site (frontend) and approve the order that has been made (perhaps with a higher grade login), this I have no idea how to achieve. I am not a complete novice but this is well above my skill level and knowledge to work out how to achieve this.

I know this is not the function of your plugin, but I am wondering if you have any pointers as to how I can achieve such functionality? Whether attempting to amend button functions to fire off a contact form 7 email or similar would be a better option. I’m really not sure.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.
