Can Return URL page have a password?

  • Hello,
    I currently have the Return URL set to a Thank you page and it works fine. My question is, if I password protect the Thank you page, will it return to the Thank You page or return to a password screen?

    I want to do this because the Thank you page has login information to proceed to our product download page. Many customers don’t download the software right away and need to know the login password to download at a later time. If someone just typed in the URL for the /thank-you page, they would be able to access important login information without actually purchasing.

    Hi Peggy, the plugin simply redirects the client to the Thank You Page. If it is password protected then that is what they will see. Another words if anyone landing in that page sees a password screen then that is what the buyer will see after they have purchased your product and the plugin redirects them to the Thank You Page.

    Does my answer help you in any way? Or are you trying to achieve something else?
