Can “Show more Posts” be disabled/overridden?

    Hi there

    I’m trying to use the ‘show more posts’ option to increase the number of posts on my front page – however, whatever theme I use it seems to be stuck at 4.

    The only plugin I have running at the moment is Event Calendar 3.1.1.

    Some themes do have the number hardcoded. If you would paste a link to the theme where it can be downloaded, or paste the contents of your themes index.php to https://wordpress.pastebin.ca and report back the link and we can help.

    The main theme I’ve been testing on is the popular Blue Zinfandel https://www.briangardner.com/download/blue-zinfandel-2column.zip

    I see no reason that theme shouldn’t show more than 4 posts. Do you have a link to the website where this is happening?

    I have been incredibly incredibly stupid – i had ticked the option on ec3 to not display those tagged ‘event’ in the main blog and there were only four posts to display that were not in this categoty.
