• I have the Zombie theme installed and I LOVE the look except I would like to be able to change the color of the text in the main (posts etc) and also my two sidebar menus with fresh ideas and content are blacked out and I want them to be readable. https://www.kjv-truth-ministries.org

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven’t edited CSS style sheets before so please bear with me!

  • Best to post on the theme’s forum here:

Thanks! I saw that but they doesn’t seem to be anyone answering folks there. Was hoping someone with some knowledge off style sheets might be able to direct me…

Yep, basically, people helping out answer threads anyplace – theme-specific or not. And the theme developer WILL see a thread in the theme forum – but not likely someplace else. Also, posting in the theme forum helps other people find and use previous posts related to that theme.

I’m not sure what’s going on with your site right now – there does not seem to be any stylesheet loaded correctly – have you changed something in it?

Also, you should NOT make CSS changes to the style.css file – as they will be overwritten when the theme is updated. Instead, you can use a custom CSS plugin like Custom CSS Manager (or JetPack if you are already using it).

So I’d still suggest you install that plugin and make a new post in that forum.

I used to use another theme but it stopped getting updated and wasn’t working properly. I’ve experimented with DOZENS hoping to find one I like the looks of that sort of “works” out of the gate. This is one of the closest I’ve found. When I look at it everything looks okay except the side menus are basically invisible until you move the cursor over them..

Will post on the creators site too. Thanks!
