• Hi, everyone!

While I love the Hiero theme (It works perfectly for the futurtistic/dark look I’m going for with my website), I really dislike the fact that the alternate red colors in the theme (For instance, when you hover over something) cannot be changed easily. I read all about going and adding a child theme, editing the CSS, all that nonsense. I tried to do all that (Changed the red colors to green), but there’s so many different shades of red in the CSS, all in so many different places (main nav, and others) that I really just can’t decipher any of it.

I was wondering if anybody would be kind enough to either point me to a (Free) plugin that allows me to do this easily, or perhaps even change the red colors to green for me – or at least point out specifically what parts of the CSS I need to change.

I hope this made sense! Thanks in advance, everyone.

EDIT: To be clear, I’m not being lazy or anything – I did go into the CSS and attempt to make the changes myself, but because I can’t read CSS I was basically just taking shots in the dark. I ended up somehow turning the text on my hover menus to green too, so you couldn’t even read them until you hovered over them. I have no clue why this happened – this is the kind of thing I’m talking about when I say I can’t decipher it myself.

  • Hi Trigon,

Those red color are depends on your main color setting.
You can manage it from customize > colors > main color
