can someone help with a slider problem?

A convenient way to remove the slider posts from the main loop is to make a category called “sliders” or whatever, then under “Appearance” “theme Options” under the General Tab scroll down to where you see the heading “Portfolio Page” make the category “sliders” your portfolio page. Then directly above this under the heading “Home Page” check the box that says “Exclude Portfolio from main loop” This will make it so your sliders only appear in your actual slider.
