    Hi,

The ‘Google Reviews Widget’ is a widget plugin and works in a sidebar of your WordPress.

However, if you’re using any page builder plugin, for instance Elementor, Page Origin, Beaver Builder, Divi, WPBakery or any other, you can add the widget to the any page of your site.

Please let me know if you are unable to do this.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thank you for the information!
I think it may be interesting and for other users.

However, if you’re using any page builder plugin, for instance Elementor, Page Origin, Beaver Builder, Divi, WPBakery or any other, you can add the widget to the any page of your site.

@richplugins What about the Gutenberg builder? Any block for that?

    Cheers.

    Hi,

We do not test the widget there, but we made this option is compatible for any page builder plugin and it should work out of the box.

However, could you send link to this page builder plugin? We will look at this and test.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for answering so quickly.

I was referring to the default editor of WordPress: https://www.ads-software.com/gutenberg/.

    Hi,

I understand what you mean and, unfortunately, the plugin will not work there, because it’s just a text editor, not the page builder plugin.

The page builder plugins build the page through a UI components and you can use any widget, for instance ‘Google Reviews Widget’ to past it directly to the any page.

    Thanks!

I guess @matveb, @joen and @karmatosed would have a different opinion about the “just a text editor” part, but it’s OK ??

Thank you for your time. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a Google Reviews Widget Gutenberg block in the near future!

    Hi,

@idearius, seems I was wrong, the Gutenberg builder is powerful Editor and it may bigger then simple page builder plugin.

I installed it to our test server and tried. It has a limited predefined list of default widgets and, unfortunately, there’s no feature to add there any custom widget, like Google Reviews:

Also, I do not know at the moment, if a Gutenberg has a feature to add something to our plugin to add it in there list of widgets. I think, we need to investigate this, but I guess there’s no such option and in this case a Gutenberg’s developers should integrate it.

Or if Gutenberg editor will have the feature to add a sidebar, like widgets, in this case the our plugin will work without any changes.

In any case, thank you for your reply, this gave me impetus to this little investigation of a Gutenberg.

    Thanks!
