Can the individual "employee" profiles not be listed under "Emplyees"?

What I mean is when I pull up the page with the circle grid it is (in my case) https://hero-farm.com/dogood-network/; however, when I look at the individual profile it is: https://hero-farm.com/employees/stefani-salas/.
The /employees folder does not appear to exist, I guess its just a dynamically created permalink based on the category “employee” but we are listing members of a group, not actual employees and having it say employees in the address could be a problem. The plugin is exactly what we need except for this one issue. Is there a way to rename the /employees before every profile page?
