Hi, I have a lot of pages and a lot of articles added per month. Is it possible to somehow set up an automatic action so that the plugin runs e.g. once a day via cron or somehow run it differently without logging into the panel?

    Hello @sannjas

Short answer: no, there isn’t a way to run this daily.

Long answer: That would be a really bad idea. Having something regenerate your thumbnails every day would be very detrimental to your server, especially since you mention you have lots of pages and articles added per month, and, not only that, it would be relatively pointless. If you’ve just added content, you shouldn’t need to regenerate your thumbnails; they should be generated when the images are uploaded.

Generally, you would only want to regenerate your thumbnails when you change themes or manually adjust your image sizes that are registered or something like that, all of which are manual processes.

I’m going to resolve this thread but if you have further questions, please feel free to open a new one!
