    Hi,

don’t know why messages are deleted here, but the simple question is : can I edit the ‘simple’ template to add a field anyway manualy or do I need to buy the PRO version?

    Thanks for an answer.

    Regards

Solution : I followed https://docs.wpovernight.com/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/creating-a-custom-pdf-template/, added my own template in child theme and was able to add my tax number.

We can’t delete messages here. If you sent a message that was deleted, this could only be done by a moderator. In that case, you should receive a mail in your inbox. If not, you can ask in the #forums channel on Making WordPress, the WordPress workspace on Slack.

I’m glad to hear that you found the article in our Docs about how to work with custom PDF Templates! However, if you only want to add the VAT number on your invoices, there are another easier ways to do it. You can read my reply here to see two alternative methods to achieve the same: VAT on invoice. I prefer these last, because we update the PDF templates from time to time, and if you keep using a custom template, you’ll need to update it when we update the default built-in templates, to get the improvements on your custom one.
