    Hi There!

I have been working on trying to setup a music store for a local artist. I tried the Music Store plugin and it worked great. Only one hole was left… The musician wants to ALSO sell downloadable PDFs of his music notation. This did not appear to be possible with Music Store. I looked and found the similar and more flexible plugin, Sell Downloads. Using that, I can sell BOTH MP3 and PDF files. The problem is that I really liked that the buyer could preview the music with Music Store with a player. Can such a player be used in the Sell Downloads plugin?

    Hi,

In the “Sell Downloads” plugin, if the demo file is an audio file, will be loaded a music player in the product page.

    Best regards.

I see a link that says “Download File Demo” instead of a player. The link if selected causes the browser to download a file ending in .mp3.html which contains the MP3 content. Have I messed up a configuration?

Just to follow up…. The file that gets downloaded only ends in .mp3.html for me when using safari. In chrome it just downloads as .mp3.

    Hi,

Please, go to the “Sell Downloads Settings”, and check the option “Allow display online demos”. If the issue persist, I will need the WordPress access to check it in detail. For send us sensitive information, use our support page:

Thank you! That did the trick! As a future feature suggestion, it would be great if the media player came up in the list view as well. I have one other issue, but I will post it in a new message. Thank you for the prompt reply on this issue. I am impressed with your product and your commitment to supporting it!
