Can this be done? Custom Consent Categories / control per service

    Hi,

    I’ve previously used Complianz Consent areas/shortcode to only show content upon consent – to the “marketing” category.

    I read on your website that more granular consent control is both in development or planned for future releases. So my question is – can this be done somehow with the current release?

    For a new project, it would be preferable, if not necessary, to be able to show on the same page, say, content embedded from instagram upon consent to the instagram service without also automatically allowing content embedded from facebook or twitter on the same page, ie, to have three protected areas that on click reveal only the corresponding content/service category, and also have corresponding consent switches in the banner/cookie policy.

    Can this be done with the current version? Maybe by coding a specific custom filter or integration?

    If so, could you maybe point me to some relevant developer documentation, as wasn’t able to find anything in that respect.

    Hi @tschwarz-1,

    Consent per service is not yet supported in the current release, but this is being worked on as-we-speak, and will be possible from Complianz 6.1 and upwards.

    it does, thanks a lot.
    Any idea about when Complianz 6.1 will be available?

    Just so I know whether it’s possible for the project to wait or whether it’s better to pursue an alternative route for now…

    Hi @tschwarz-1,

    I’m afraid an ETA for 6.1 is a bit too uncertain at this point.

    From 6.0 (BETA within ~2 weeks), consent per individual service will already be registered within the plugin, but would still require some customization at that point. Implementing this functionality is one of our top priorities currently.
